- The distro: Things You Say, started in March of 2009, is a zine distro based in Keyport, NJ. I started it mostly because I love sharing zines with people and communicating with other zinesters. I also have a passion for designing websites and being super diligent and organized. What better way to put these interests together
than starting a zine distro, right?
Things You Say carries a variety of thought-provoking and well-written zines, all of which you can order on this website. I also table at zine fests (Boston, NJ, Philly) when I get the chance.
- About me: I’m Erin H, a 27-year-old New Jersey native, and I’ve been a zinester since about the year 2000. I used to run Driving Blind Distro, but I had to quit due to work and other obligations. I also write the zine Driving Blind, which includes stories about being disabled, the love of my town, and other personal stories. Right now, I am working on a zine (currently untitled) about meeting my fiancé and how my/our disabilities influence other people’s perceptions of us and our relationship. Besides zine-ing, I enjoy eating jellybeans, reading (I’m a huge bibliophile), watching and obsessing over my favorite TV shows, writing in my blog, designing websites, and sending/receiving mail. Besides working on this distro, I am also enrolled full-time at the International Academy of Design and Technology, going after my Associate's in Web Design and Development.
